We took the boys down the DelMarva peninsula and around to the mainland of Virginia . Fun was had by all.
We started with a stop at Assateague. The Chincoteague ponies were showing themselves. The high winds made it very interesting. And the touch tank was pretty fun.
The battlefield at Yorktown was like a giant playground. But with cousins.
The Nelson House in Historic Yorktown had a formal boxwood garden that had been forgotten long enough that it was like a maze, more than intended. All the better for us.
Virgnina Beach was a little cold, but that didn't stop us.
Check back in a bit. There might be a few more photos in a few days.
